SMS Service

The SMS service allows our customers, to send an SMS to 58888,as an additional service / support, if customers are not able to reach us on 1800119966 (Toll free number).
This new contact channel has opened new vistas for communication for our customers, and going forward open up new service opportunities for us.
Our call center customer service team would follow up with an outbound call to the customer and assist them with their queries. This also heralds a new era for customer servicing through full integration of Voice and Non-voice (i.e. Email, SMS, Fax etc) customer communication channels.
The SMS Services offered by Tata AIG General insurance Company are listed below -
Customer related SMS Services
- CLAIM - If you are unable to get in touch with the toll free number and wish to register a claim, kindly type in a keyword ‘CLAIMS’ and send it to 58888.
- RENEW - To renew your policy type in a keyword 'RENEW' and send it to 58888.
Agency related SMS Services
- WEBPOS - This sms service facility is available only for the agents for various webpos related queries, issues and service request. The agent needs to type in keyword 'WEBPOS' and send it to 58888.
- CC - This facility helps the agents to get in touch with the Credit Card helpdesk at the contact center in order to get his customer premium processed online through payment gateway. The agent needs to type in keyword 'CC' and send it across to 9870392733.
